MV Dugar Enters Electric Two-Wheeler Segment With Indonesian Brand 'Gesits'

MV Dugar Group has announced its entry into the electric vehicle segment by launching the Indonesian electric two-wheeler brand- Gesits. Under the MV Dugar Group, Vivek Automobiles has launched the Gesits G1 at a price of Rs 3,49,900 (single battery) and Rs 4,10,000 (dual battery pack).The event was graced and inaugurated by Kulman Ghising (Managing Director- Nepal Electricity Authority), Motilal Dugar (Chairman, MV Dugar Group), Vivek Dugar (Vice-Chairman, MV Dugar Group), Vijay Mahato (Director, Vivek Automobiles), and Kanak Zamar (Gesits' country head).The Gesits G1 electric scooter gets a 5 kW electric motor to produce 6.7 hp and 30 Nm of torque. The G1 uses a BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) dynamo motor with 2000-watt rated power and 5000-watt peak power. The electric scooter can do 0-50km/h in less than 5 seconds with a 76 km/hr top speed. The battery which can be fully charged in under 90 minutes returns an approximate range of 100 km, says the company. The company provides a warranty of 3 years on the battery.The Gesits G1 also gets a Battery Management System function with features like over-charging protection, over-discharging protection, over-current protection, temperature control, short-circuit prevention and cell equalization. In addition, it also features three ride modes, HID headlamp, LED taillamp, double disc brakes, belt drive, a detachable battery pack rear mono shock, and Android OS.The Gesits G1 is available in three exciting exterior color options.
